While Shah Rukh Khan is on an extended sabbatical from his movie career, it seems he may just make a brief exception in a movie.

Apparently, he has agreed to make a cameo appearance in the Tamil film, Bigil, starring Vijay and Nayanthara.

"They have approached Shah Rukh with the request. He has never done any Tamil film before, but this is just to shake a leg with Vijay to an A R Rahman tune," a source tells Subhash K Jha.

Incidentally, SRK has done the maximum number of cameos and 'friendly appearances' to help out friends. In all, he has done 32 cameos so far!

Shah Rukh had taken a conscious decision to stay away from cameos some time ago.

In fact, he told Subhash some years ago that he would stop doing guest appearances.

"I'd do these things for a friend. If I've decided not to do guest appearances, it's because I've no way of knowing how these roles finally turn out. I have no control over special appearances," he had said.

It looks like he has changed his mind.

When it comes to friends, he just can't say no.
