Ileana D'Cruz may have debuted in Hindi films with hits like Barfi! and Main Tera Hero but the actress couldn't really cash in on their success.
But now, the actress has reportedly bagged a role opposite Asia’s biggest action star Jackie Chan and is in Dubai to start shooting for the film.
The project, titled Kung Fu Yoga, is directed by Stanley Tong, who had earlier cast Mallika Sherawat along side Jackie Chan in The Myth where the actress had a blink-and-miss role.
Ileana, however, is said to have a more substantial part in Kung Fu Yoga, and some very cool stunts that Chan is personally supervising.
Sonu Sood plays the main villain in the film (and not a "parallel lead" as the actor's PR machinery claims).
The makers are currently on the lookout for an Indian parallel lead with Jackie Chan.
Hrithik Roshan had agreed to the film but opted out recently.
