'I have big lips and long legs, so people believe the worst of me'

'If I wanted, I could have gone Nora Fatehi's way of getting linked to a male contestant to survive. Nora was clear that she would have an affair with either Rishabh Sinha or Prince Narula. That was her strategy. I am not like that. I am not a fake person.'

Bigg Boss' Gizele Thakral discusses her short stint in the house.

Gizele Thakral made a dramatic wild card entry into the latest season of Bigg Boss but she's been shown the door already.

"I am very disappointed to be out in three weeks," Gizele says. "I have given a lot of content, if you have watched (the show). The people who were nominated along with me have a fan following. I don’t have many fans, as I haven't done a lot of TV shows and films."

A Kingfisher calendar model, Gizele has participated in reality shows like Survivors India and Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki.

"I have big lips and long legs, so people think I am too fashion-conscious and believe the worst of me. But now, after seeing me on the show, they don’t judge me by my looks," she adds.

Gizele managed to make a mark for herself despite her short stint in the house, thanks to her witty one-liners.

"I brought a fun element on the show; I cracked jokes on myself as well. The Bigg Boss house is not only about fights but it's also about having fun. I did not suck up to anyone. I stood up for myself only when I was provoked.

"If I wanted, I could have gone Nora's (Fatehi, another wild card entry) way of getting linked to a male contestant to survive. Nora was clear that she would have an affair with either Rishabh Sinha or Prince Narula. That was her strategy. I am not like that. I am not a fake person," Gizele asserts.

"I am 300 percent sure that Nora is doing everything for the footage. That guy (Prince) has real feelings but not her," Gizele claims. Gizele had objected to Nora's late night PDA with Prince in the house.

"I think Nora was told that one has to fight with someone to be noticed on the show. She chose me as I was not in any group, so there wouldn’t be any backlash. Throughout my stay in the show, she kept fighting with me," Gizele adds.

The other contestant that Gizele did not get along with was Rochelle Rao.

"Rochelle treats her boyfriend (Keith Sequiera) very badly. She is so rude to him. She is so dominating that his personality does not come out. He got injured but she was still giving orders to him," Gizele says.

The model feels Kishwer Merchant is playing the game very smartly.

"She is manipulating most of the people in the house like Suyyash (Rai), Priya (Malik), Rochelle and Keith. She is the one who is controlling everyone," Gizele says.

Gisele shared a love-hate relationship with Priya Malik.

"Priya is irritating sometimes but otherwise, she is nice. She is a friend and I want to meet her outside. She loves making a big issue out of small ones. Even if I am talking to someone, she will say, 'OMG! You said this! It's a social issue. I will file a case against you. If you talk about anyone in front of her, she will exaggerate and make it dirty and tell that person. She is scary that way," Gizele says.

"I used to call her Savita bhabhi because she spoke to Bigg Boss in a flirtatious manner. Whenever I called her Savita bhabhi, she would make faces, and say I will file a case against you," Gizele says with a laugh. "We used to have a lot of fun but she never complained to (host) Salman Khan or Bigg Boss. I think she enjoyed it because someone called her voice sexy."

Mandana Karimi, Gizele says, is stubborn and egoistic but not fake.

"We did a movie together. We did not hang out much but she turned out to be a very caring person," Gizele says. "She helped me when I got injured in the house. It made me behave like a shield to her after that. Somehow, she's the target in there."

Gizele liked Salman, of course.

"Salman is an angel and his advice is great. We would look forward to seeing him on Saturday. I am lucky that I got to interact with him," she says.

Before he entered the house to promote his film Dilwale, Salman had warned Shah Rukh Khan of Gisele’s big lips!

"Shah Rukh told me about it when he came inside the house," Gizele laughs. "I am bullied since childhood for my big lips. My mother is half Malayali and my father is a Punjabi, so I have a unique look."

So what did she miss the most in Bigg Boss?

"I missed my mom. She is my life after I lost my dad at a young age," Gizele says.

Gisele is now looking forward to the release of her film Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, which will release in January. Her other film Maastizaade is also lined up for release.

"I am extremely excited and nervous about the films. I have a three-film deal with Balaji Telefilms. I am open to all kinds of work, whether it's television or films," Gizele signs off.
