Humaima, Nargis, Sara Loren: Pakistani hotties come to India!

Humaima MallickA look at the current lot of Pakistani beauties on the Indian horizon!

Pakistani entertainers are all over the place.

If their television serials have caught the collective fancy of Indian living rooms, Lahore-based hunk Fawad Khan is making waves for his upcoming Khoobsurat remake opposite Sonam Kapoor.

It's not a new trend.

Earlier too Pakistani actors like Salma Agha, Zeba Bakhtiar, Mohsin Khan, Somi Ali, Anita Ayub, Meera and Ali Zafar tried their luck in Bollywood.

This week, Humaima Malik (left) will make her Hindi film debut in the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Raja Natwarlal.

The buzz around her is so favourable that even before its release, she has nabbed a three-film contract with filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's production company.

Here's a look at the current lot of Pakistani actresses on the Indian horizon.

Nargis Fakhri

Probably the most successful of them all, the half Pakistani, half Czech New Yorker began her career on a high note with Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar.

Even if her co-star Ranbir Kapoor walked away with all the accolades and she received flak for her dubbed dialogue delivery, Fakhri's next Madras Cafe only added to her resume.

With back-to-back super-hit item songs (Dhating Naach, Yaar Na Mile) and a hit comedy Main Tera Hero to her credit, the glamour girl is aspiring to go places.

Sara Loren

Originally Mona Lizza, the Kuwait-born stunner shuttles between India and Pakistan to make movies.

She made her debut against Himesh Reshammiya in Pooja Bhatt's lacklustre Kajrare and followed it up with a seductive avatar in Murder 3.

Up next, Loren is slated to appear in an item song of Anees Bazmee sequel, Welcome Back.

Sasha Agha

Despite making a debut under the Yash Raj banner, yesteryear actress Salma Agha's light-eyed daughter and her lilting voice failed to lure viewers of Aurangzeb.

The British-based starlet will next be seen in a thriller named Desi Kattey co-starring Suniel Shetty and Jay Bhanushali.

Veena Malik

Better known for cosying up with Ashmit Patel in front of multiple cameras in reality show, Bigg Boss and raunchy dance numbers, Veena Malik's name is synonymous with sensationalism.

Her body of work in Bollywood -- Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, Super Model and regional cinema -- Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Hot haven't done much to alter that impression.

Sanam Saeed

Like co-star Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed's claim to fame in India is the popular television series Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

As the fiercely independent even if somewhat sceptical Kashaf, Saeed has made quite a mark in the romantic series about opposites attract.

In a recent interview, the 29-year-old says she's open to Bollywood but finds her sensibilities closer to that of Tabu and Vidya Balan.
