After Simmba, Producer Karan Johar and Director Rohit Shetty announced another cop movie, Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar.

Akshay and Katrina will be working together after a long time. They starred in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Welcome, Singh is Kinng, De Dana Dan and Tees Maar Khan.

Katrina has just finished shooting Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat with Salman Khan while Akshay completed shooting Good News with Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.

Rohit's cop movies don't have chunky roles for its lady leads -- remember Sara Ali Khan in Simmba? -- so it will be interesting to see what the director has planned for Kat.

Katrina-Akshay-Rohit: We'll know what magic awaits us on Eid 2020 when Sooryavanshi turns up on screens.
