As the Lion co-stars, Dev Patel and Sunny Pawar walked on the 74th Golden Globes stage to introduce their film, nominated for four awards, the audience gave them a very warm welcome.

The eight-year-old actor had a wide smile throughout and it became even bigger when Dev lifted him up, so that he could reach the mike and introduce his film, saying, "This is our movie, Lion."

Sunny plays the younger Saroo Brierley while Dev plays the older version. The film also stars Nicole Kidman.

The New York City premiere of Lion was attended by former US President, Bill Clinton.

Sunny Pawar was chosen for the role out of the 2,000 boys that were auditioned. Initially, when they began filming for his debut, Mumbai-based Sunny did not know how to speak English. But he's going places and his Hollywood career has only just begun.

He will be seen next in Love Sonia, along with with Demi Moore, Freida Pinto and Richa Chadha.
