Get ready for Venkatesh-Pawan Kalyan's Gopala Gopala

Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh in GopalaIt’s not often that one sees Telugu superstars acting together in movies.

Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu were recently seen in 2013's Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

Now, Venkatesh will be seen with Pawan Kalyan in Gopala Gopala, the Telugu remake of the Hindi film Oh My God (OMG). 

Kishore Kumar Pardasani (Dolly as he is popularly known) of Tadakha, Koncham Ishtam, Koncham Kashtam fame is directing Gopala Gopala. It has been produced by Suresh Babu and Sharrath Marar on the banners Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainments.

Venkatesh reprises Paresh Rawal’s role, while Pawan Kalyan plays Lord Krishna, played by Akshay Kumar in the original.

Mithun Chakraborty, who was cast in the original film, will be seen here as well.

The rest of the cast includes Shriya Saran, Posani Krishna Murali, Madhu Shalini, Vennela Kisore, Krishnudu and Diksha Panth.

The movie has been shot in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

The screenplay is by Kishore Kumar Pardasani, Bhoopathy Raja and Deepak Raj.

Jayanan Vincent handles the camera, Anoop Reubens scores the music, Sai Madhav Burra has written the dialogues, while Gautham Raju edits the film.

Gopala Gopala is slated to release on January 14.

Radhika Rajamani in Hyderabad
