First Look: Sumanth's Emo Gurram Egara Vachu

A scene from Emo Gurram Egara VachuThe title of Sumanth’s latest film Emo Gurram Egara Vachu (EGEV) is a Telugu proverb.

EGEV is produced by Madan (writer-director of Pellaina Kothalo) and directed by Chandra Siddhartha (who also directed Aa Nalaguru, Andhari Bandhuvayya, Madhumasam, and Idhi Sangathi). Sumanth and Chandra Siddhartha had worked together in Madhumasam (2007).

Sumanth's co-star is Pinky Savika who is a Thai actress and makes her debut in Tamil films.

S S Kanchi, cousin of director S S Rajamouli (who had penned Maryada Ramanna and also helped in Eega), has worked on the script of EGEV.

M M Keeravani has scored the music for this film.

It is slated to release some time this year.
