The first pictures of Rajinikanth's new film Kabali are out.

The Tamil superstar wears a suave look, as he sits on an armchair with the Malaysian twin towers at the backdrop. He will play a Chennai-based don in the film.

The film will be directed by Pa Ranjith, who had directed the hits Attakathi and Madras earlier. It will be produced by Kalaipuli Thanu.

Kabali will co-star Radhika Apte, Prakash Raj and Kishore.

The pooja was performed on September 17, on Ganesh Chaturthi.

This is Rajinikanth's 159th film.
