A R Rahman may be getting international recognition at the Oscars [ Images ] only this year but he's given us 17 years of musical brilliance, ever since his debut outing in Mani Ratnam's Roja [ Images ].

We loved his music in Rangeela [ Images ], Dil Se, Earth, Taal [ Images ], Lagaan [ Images ], Meenaxi [ Images ], Swades [ Images ], Rang De Basanti [ Images ], Jodha Akbar, Jaane Tu [ Images ]... Ya Jaane Na, Ghajini [ Images ], Slumdog Millionaire [ Images ], Delhi-6 [ Images ]... the list is unending. He's made superb music in Tamil movies as well like Thiruda Thiruda, Boys and Sivaji: The Boss.

Whether Rahman bags an Oscar award or not, there's no doubt of the man's talent.
