Obi-Wan Kenobi will now appear as a 'harvested being'!

Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in George Lucas' Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, is now scheduled to work with Michael Bay in The Island.

The DreamWorks sci-fi thriller is about a 'harvested being' who tries to escape from the facility that he is being sheltered in, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Production of The Island is scheduled to begin towards the end of 2004.

Just back from a motorcycle world tour, McGregor will now appear in Stay, with Naomi Watts (21 Grams, The Ring). He is also slated to work in Lucas' Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith.

McGregor was last seen in Big Fish and Young Adam.
