Dulquer and Nithya Menen send directors into a frenzy

A lowdown on what's happening in the Malayalam film industry.

The film’s recently unveiled first look has received good reviews.

The pair also plays the lead in debutant director Jenuse Mohamed’s 100 Days of Love.

Makers of both the film are in the race to release their film before the other.

Lal Jose’s Nee-Na takes off in Russia

 

Ace director Lal Jose has started shooting Nee-Na -- a story of two women, Nalini and Neena, played by Ann Augustine and debutante Deepti Sathy.

Some portions of the film were shot in St Petersburg, Russia, and the rest in Kochi.

Nee-Na is produced by L J Films. R Venugopal has scripted the film. Jomon T John wields the camera.

Ratheesh’s daughter makes acting debut

 

Parvathy, the daughter of veteran actor Ratheesh, is set to maker her debut in director Sugeeth’s Madhura Naranga.

The film is currently being shot on location in Dubai. Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon play the lead roles.

Ratheesh’s son Padmaraj recently played the baddie in Deepu Karunakaran’s Fireman.
