Do Aankhen Barah Haath, in colour!

April 06, 2005 18:25 IST

Do Aankhen Barah Haath, a classic directed by V Shantaram, will be colourised and digitalised following the success of K Asif's epic Mughal-e-Azam.

TimeBrush, an Australian company, will digitally revive and colourise Do Aankhen Barah Haath, which was made in black and white in 1956 and had theatrical releases in 1957 and 1958.

"The colourisation is on an experimental basis and we intend to release it in India only if the colour schemes are perfect and we are completely satisfied with the output," Kiran Shantaram, son of V Shantaram, said.

He added that if the colourisation schemes work, the film would release in India this Diwali (end of November).
