The Artist quite predictably won the Best Actor and Film awards while the other favourite -- George Clooney and his film The Descendants -- lost out at the 84th Annual Academy Awards.
Hugo bagged five awards while Moneyball lost out in all the six categories that it was nominated.
Meryl Streep bagged the Best Actress award for The Iron Lady while The Help's Viola Davis lost out.
