'You should pick up household chores that requires physical activity.'
'I volunteered to mop the whole house, so my mum is very happy.'

Love Per Square Foot actress Angira Dhar is housebound like the rest of us.

While she is missing her friends and working, she's doing her best to keep herself busy.

"The other day I made pasta for my mum because she's the one who cooks mostly, and I wanted to treat her," she tells Patcy N/Rediff.com.

What were you working on before the lockdown?

I was shooting for an Amazon Web series, which I can't name it yet, in Mumbai.

Now the shoot has got pushed.

We did not know the lockdown would happen in such a big way.

What shows have you been watching during this time?

I binge watched The Handmaid's Tale, which has been around for a while but I managed to watch all three seasons only now.

It is based on a book by Margaret Atwood, which I had read and really liked.

For Atwood to write it in her time was commendable and Amazon has mounted it well.

HotStar's Outsider is amazing. I really like horror and supernatural stuff, and this is a supernatural crime thriller.

It keeps you hooked.

I could not sleep without completing the whole season.

I might just see Succession again. It's a beautifully written show.

It's about a dysfunctional family.

There is a fun show called Insecure. It's a chick show about these best friends.

I can watch Schitt's Creek over and over again. It's a fun comedy show about a very family that suddenly goes bankrupt.

Killing Eve is very nice. I am waiting for the third season.

What would you suggest your fans can do to keep busy?

Watch all my movies like Bang Baaja Baaraat, Love Per Square Foot and Commando 3! Also, the shows I just listed.

Help around in the house.

You should pick up household chores that requires physical activity. I volunteered to mop the whole house, so my mum is very happy.

I did not use the stick mop; I did it the traditional way -- getting down on the floor and mopping.

Read books, read whatever you have been wanting to for a long time -- that book sitting on your shelf and eating dust. Now is the time to pick it out and read it.

Cook. Cooking is amazing!

The other day I made pasta for my mum because she's the one who cooks mostly, and I wanted to treat her.

Stay in touch with your friends. Keep video calling.

And, of course, there is social media.

what do you miss the most?

I really miss meeting my friends.

I also miss shoots because you were in high spirits and suddenly, it stopped.

I miss travelling.

I miss my house help!

What's the first thing you will do after the lockdown is called off?

I would like to start shooting immediately.

I am at my parents's home now. I came here to just be around them, so the first thing I'll do is go back to my home and see if everything is okay.

I will hit the gym, probably the swimming pool too.

I want to meet my friends.
