Bollywood singers wish Lata Mangeshkar

Happy birthday, Lataji!

The iconic Lata Mangeshkar is an inspiration for today's singers.

They've grown up worshipping the Nightingale, and have learnt so much by just listening to her.

On her 88th birthday, Bollywood's young singers send across their birthday wishes by singing some of their favourite Lata songs.

Harish Moyal sings Woh chup rahen to mere from the 1964 film Jahan Ara.
Claim to fame: Won the Big Star IMA Best Sufi song award for Mere saiyaan in 2011.

 

Shabab Sabri sings Hai tere saath meri wafa from the 1973 film, Hindustan Ki Kasam
Claim to fame: Chalao na naino se from Bol Bachchan and Dil kare chu che from Singh Is Bliing.
