Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi has just crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. He is now ready to launch Singham 3 with Ajay Devgan.
One now hears the film will be addressing the theme of cross-border terrorism and the Kashmir issue vis-à-vis Article 370.
So are these further signs of the politicisation of Rohit Shetty's cinema? In Sooryavanshi he had on board a political analyst known to specialise in research on terrorism.
In Singham 3 Rohit is expected to get the same research team on board to get the political details right.
"It's going to be a big challenge for Rohit Shetty. Singham 3 will be his most politically sensitive film and he can't afford to get it wrong," a source in the know informs Subhash K Jha.
Rohit has come a long way from his Golmaal days.
