A still from AnacondasAnacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid, the sequel to the 1997 hit Anaconda, will be the second biggest Hollywood release in India after Spider-Man 2.

On August 27, about 250 prints will be released all over the country in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The reason for such excess?

Anaconda, the first film, is the 9th biggest grossing Hollywood film in India.

The new film is set in the jungles of Borneo.

The jungles house a rare red orchid, the blood orchid, which holds the key to producing a youth-preserving serum.

When an excited group of scientists set out to find the blood orchid -- it blooms only two weeks every seven years -- they quickly realise it is more than bad weather and the heavy undergrowth that separates them from the treasure.

Within the jungle lies a deadly predator that keeps the secret of the orchids safe and stops anyone who dares to enter its territory.
