We have heard of 3-D cinema but 6D, and that too in India?
Yes, it's true! Adlabs Cinemas, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has launched the country's first 6D cinema experience at Agra, the city which is home to one of the Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal.
This cinematic technology promises out of this world experiences where the audience can simultaneously see, smell, hear, touch and 'feel' the movie by using cutting-edge visual and audio effects.
Adlabs Cinemas also has plans to introduce the format at other places of tourist attraction.
'We have plans to introduce this format at other popular tourist destinations such as Jaipur and Goa as well as international airport terminals, adding a whole new dimension to the country's tourism and entertainment industries,' Tushar Dhingra, COO, Adlabs Cinemas, said at the launch.
Jaipur will join other cities across the world like Jerusalem, Rome, Baltimore, Orlando, Mexico, Athens, Warsaw and Tel Aviv with this unique 6D attraction.
