October 27, 2014 13:56 IST

Soni Singh'I thought I would celebrate my birthday with my housemates in December. To be out this early doesn't give a sense of achievement,' Soni Singh tells Rajul Hegde.

Soni Singh, best known for her portrayal of negative characters on television, is the fourth contestant to be eliminated from the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 8.

Upset at her unexpected exit from the show, Soni says she did not get enough votes because she stayed away from spats.

“I'm just not feeling good. I still cannot come to terms with the fact that I have been ousted from the show," Soni says. “I saw myself as the top contestant in the show. I thought I would celebrate my birthday with my housemates in December. To be out this early doesn't give a sense of achievement. I had a ball inside the house. I'm going to miss it.”

Soni might have won a few hearts inside the house, but the audience did not like her much.

“I thought Minissha (Lamba) would get evicted when we were in the bottom two. That is because she was not so aggressive during the tasks,” Soni said.

She was in the Bigg Boss house for five weeks.

“I'm a very sensitive person. I thought if I got angry, the others would not like me. I learnt how to adjust with the many difficulties life has to offer me. I loved every moment inside the house. I had the best Diwali of my life. I laughed joked and shared sweets with Salman Khan,” Soni reminisces.

Salman Khan and Soni Singh on Bigg BossRumours were doing the rounds that Soni and housemate Upen Patel's relationship was not platonic.

“I have been hearing such talk,” she said. “I can't change the way people think.

“I have clarified that there's nothing. However, in doing so I now know what people and their dirty minds think. I know Upen will miss me a lot."

She adds: "I have come out of the house with one brother (Upen) and many friends -- Sushant (Digvikar), Di (Diandra Soares), and Karishma (Tanna).”

She will be indulging in a spot of match making, she says.

“I will look for a cool, urban girl for Upen. And he says he has many friends in London who want to marry a typical Indian girl like me,” she smiles.

She hopes the Bigg Boss show will fetch her more television work.

“I have taken a liking to reality shows. I wish I could go back to the house as a wild card entry. I never knew that I would enjoy being on a reality show so much.”

Soni treasures the memory of performing before Rekha during her stay in the Bigg Boss house.

“I love dancing... even while making rotis inside the house I would dance.

“I would like to take part in a dance reality show like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa or a dare devil kind of show like Khatron Ke Khiladi

“I hope I get many more offers for reality shows,” she says.
