Ram Gopal Varma's new film has been mired in controversy from the start.

Titled Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, the film is RGV's take on Ramesh Sippy's classic, Sholay.

Amitabh Bachchan's Baban plays Gabbar Singh, Ajay Devgan's Heero plays Veeru, Prashant Raj's Raj Ranade plays Jai, Nisha Kothari's Ghunroo plays Basanti, and Sushmita Sen's Durga Devi plays Radha.
