Vikram K Kumar's bilingual film Yaavarum Nalam (13B in Hindi) is going places.

After news of a Hollywood production house Weinstein Company buying the rights to the script, BIG Pictures (the producers of the Tamil film) have decided to enter unchartered waters by converting the movie plot into a television serial.

A statement issued by BIG Pictures said that they are already in discussion with leading satellite channels for a possible prime slot.

"After years of tear-jerking family soaps, this would be a relief for the typical Tamil family. They wouldn't miss the family element as the family soap forms the base of this thriller. It would be a double combo for them," the statement added.
