Remember Mansi Salvi? The pretty girl, who played Preeti in Aashirbaad and the doting daughter-in-law in Saarthi, seems to have vanished from our radar for quite some time now. We managed to track her down, and it turns out that Mansi has become a mom!

"I delivered a baby girl three months ago. At the moment, I cannot think of anything beyond her," the pretty actress says. "We have named her Omisha, which means Goddess of Happiness." The actress is married to director Hemant Prabhu.

So is her baby giving her sleepless nights? "Not at all! Omisha realises that the best way to keep her parents happy is to let them sleep well at night!" the proud mother says.

It seems the new addition to the family has brought a lot of good luck to the couple. Hemant's film Lottery (starring Abhijeet Sawant and Rucha Gujarati) is scheduled for release soon.

"We planned everything and touch wood, things are going good for us," says the actress, who was last seen in Sati on Sahara.

Mansi plans to take a year off before resuming work. "I'd like to continue Marathi and Hindi serials. I get my creative satisfaction from the former and commercial success from the latter," she says.
