Sohni Mahiwal producer passes away rediff Entertainment Bureau | July 30, 2008 15:19 IST
Yesteryear film producer F C Mehra passed away late Tuesday night. He had been ailing for a long time, and passed away in his sleep, according to a family friend. Mehra, who has produced films like Professor, Prince, Sohni Mahiwal and Alibaba and the Forty Thieves under his banner Eagle Films, gave up production in the late 1980s. His last film was Aakhri Adalat (1988), starring Vinod Khanna. His son, Umesh Mehra, has directed films like International Khiladi and Sabse Bada Khiladi with Akshay Kumar [Images].
