Romance dons a new face in this almost wickedly delightful French flick.

Filmmaker Yann Samuell paints a fanciful picture of two quirky characters -- Julien and Sophie for who life (and love) is a series of truth and dares. Dramatic layers to their seemingly innocuous personality are revealed as the story curiously zig zags between genuine and joke.

Even in moments of absolute disbelief and darkness, Jeux d'enfants maintains a dreamy vision and wry humour. Also ten brownie points to this year's Oscar-nominated actress Marion Cotillard (for La Vie En Rose) for playing the turbulent albeit tricky Sophie with oodles of glamour and cheek.
