Pooja Gandhi has donned a swimsuit for her latest film, Kodagaana Koli Nungiththaa, which hits theatres on Friday.

Directed by Vasu, the film also stars Jaggesh [Images].

"I will be seen in a swimsuit in a song sequence. Director Vasu sir convinced me that I had to be shown that way because of the character that I play. This will be a different type of role for me and particularly in the second half of the film where I have got more opportunities to act," she said.

Meanwhile, the actress is on a career high. Her recent film Taj Mahal [Images] is doing extremely well. Her two completed projects will be released in the next few months.

They are Budhdhivantha where she is working with Upendra for the first time, and Anu.

October too will see the release of Maharshi -- she is paired with Prashanth of Orata fame. Then there is Kaadiruva Ninagaagi and Janumadha Gelathi, which are in different stages of production.
