While releasing Shobhaa De's latest book Superstar India Amitabh Bachchan said it was an honour to be releasing it in her beloved hometown, Mumbai, a city that is so deeply embedded in his own affections for the last 40 years.
He said: "It feels right and good to be here."
Bachchan went on to talk about India. "In this 60th year for India we need to count our blessings, know our strengths and, admire the great achievements of our compatriots. These blessing are the promise of another dawn, another decade and the next decades. I applaud De's achievement and I applaud India's achievement.
