Can't get enough of television? Grab your weekly gossip from the industry right here.

Remember the pretty girl in the HDFC Bank [Get Quote] and Canara Bank [Get Quote] commercials? Or the one who did the show India Calling? Do you wish she would come on screen more often than she does now? If yes, you have just joined the gang smitten by the Mansi Parekh bug!

The actress has been in hibernation for quite some time after India Calling. "I wanted to take a break and get a good role, which I got once 9X was launched and Hats Off started making Remote Control. It is a lovely show and I am really enjoying it," said the actress who shot back into the limelight with two commercials. "I am really enjoying working with Deven Bhojwani and Supriya Pathak. This show is giving me tremendous creative satisfaction," said Mansi.

The beautiful actress started her career with Balaji's Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV after being selected through a talent hunt. Though she had a brief stint in Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Mansi shot to fame with her performance in India Calling.

She is now all set to move to the big screen after Tamil producer Ravi Chandran signed her for a movie opposite Shiv Pandit (the radio jockey-turned-host-turned actor). "I am all set to start shooting for the film," she said adding that the language did prove to be a barrier initially. "But now I think I have mustered enough knowledge of Tamil to act in the film," Mansi added.

The actress is married to singer Parthiv Goel. Since she is also into singing, does she have any plans of making an album with Parthiv?

"Well... do dream of that. But let us see what happens."
