I shifted to Mumbai to do more advertisements. I was quite happy, as I was getting a good amount of money. I was offered films earlier, but I didn't find them interesting. The scripts did not appeal to me.

Then someone from Mahesh Bhatt's office saw me in ads and told Bhattsaab. Bhattsaab liked me too.

They narrated Jannat's script to me. I liked it so much that I signed on immediately. What appealed to me the most was that the Bhatts are known for making films in which female characters play important roles.

What are your future plans?

I have signed a three-film deal with the Bhatts. The first is Jannat, the rest are not finalised yet.

I am doing VN Aditya's Telugu film, starring Rahul (of Happy Days fame). I am also reading scripts but I haven't finalised anything yet.
