One of the most beautiful women in the world turns 34 today.

It's been an eventful year indeed for Aishwarya Rai [Images]. After a highly publicised wedding to Abhishek Bachchan [Images], the actress headed West to work on the sets of Pink Panther, with Steve Martin, Andy Garcia [Images] and Alfred Molina [Images].

Of course, nothing the actress does is done in a whisper. Not even her first Karva Chauth, which was extensively flashed across television channels.
