Shilpa Shetty continues to make news overseas.

Cashing on the success of celebrity show Big Brother and her last film Life In A... Metro, the actress is promoting a new production of the musical Miss Bollywood in London [Images].

Shilpa plays Maya, a na�ve Indian dancer who decides to invest all of her savings into a Bollywood Dance Academy.

According to the show's website, the 'fun-filled musical is a celebration of Bollywood's kitsch and splendour as well as it's unique brand of humour in a colourful, contemporary and yet cultured representation of Bollywood.'

Renowned choreographer Ganesh Hegde is the man behind the extravagant song sequences while fashion designer Neeta Lulla has done Shilpa's elaborate outfits.

However, Miss Bollywood, which is currently touring the UK, has been panned by critics. The Daily Mail called it an 'ill-conceived, half-baked star vehicle.'
