Should AXN have been banned?
Get Movies updates:What's this?

If you've been wondering what happened to the AXN channel on your television, well, it has been banned.

And you can blame the Union government for it.

The channel has gone off air thanks to promos for a show called World's Sexiest Commercials, which obviously did not go down well with Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi's information and broadcasting ministry.

Interestingly, the promos for the show were aired after 11 pm, which abides by a proposed Bill that allows adult programmes after that time.

Do you think it is right for the government to ban the channel because it feels the moral need to do so? Should the government play the role of censor? Are we Indians not mature enough to decide what we want to see and not see? Or do you think the government was right in banning AXN?

Tell us what you think!
