Santosh Desai | April 20, 2007 13:39 IST
The D-day has finally arrived and Amitabh Bachchan's Juhu residence Prateeksha is all geared up for the big wedding.
The wedding rituals are expected to take place at 5.30 pm at Prateeksha. The baraat, as decided earlier, will move form Jalsa, Bachchan's other house, to Prateeksha, over a span of 30 minutes. The traffic will be diverted for about two hours for this. Also See: Ash's house, in lights
About 200-250 guests, including Danny Denzongpa, Ajay Devgan, Suniel Shetty, Nasreen Munni Kabir and Yash Chopra are rumoured to attend the wedding.
Prateeksha will be decorated with red and white flowers. The Bachchans have always preferred these two colours and this was amply proven in the past, during Shweta Bachchan's wedding ceremony. The attire for both Aishwarya and Abhishek has been designed by the designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. It is be believed that Aishwarya would be wearing a hot-pink ghagara.
