What's the point of Bhoot Unkle? October 04, 2006
This week, Jackie Shroff plays Johnny Depp. Friday's Bhoot Unkle will introduce us to Jackie Sparrow, Shroff's version of Depp's Pirates Of The Caribbean scene-stealer. It's an absurd-looking children's film with music by Baba Sehgal and, quite frankly, kids don't seem too impressed by the promos. You tell us: Why do people make movies like this? Who watches them? Do you think children's cinema, as a genre, is better left ignored if this is how Bollywood approaches it? Will you take your children to watch Bhoot Unkle?
