Sakshi Shivanand: Rising Star Down South

In a career spanning more than a decade, Mumbai-based actress Sakshi Shivanand has acted in more South Indian films than in Hindi films.

After starring in films like Papa Kehte Hai (with Jugal Hansraj) and Zulmi (with Ajay Devgan), she moved to Tamil and Telugu cinema, where she did films with top stars like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Arjun.

She started her Kannada film career in Galate Aliyandiru with Shivaraj Kumar, but has now already acted with all top stars like Upendra and Ravichandran. Now, she is doing a film with Ramesh in a new film titled as Soundarya.

Sakshi chats with RG Vijayasarathy about her glamorous roles and movies.
