Last November, Jyoti and her family walked out of a Broadway show and were strolling on Lexington Avenue in midtown Manhattan, where many Indian restaurants are located.

Suddenly they ran into Amitabh, who was shooting for Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and he agreed readily for autographs and snaps.
