Blast shadow on Karan Johar's new movie August 01, 2006 17:52 IST Karan Johar has called off plans to organise a premiere for his new film, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. According to Johar's banner Dharma Productions, the director is in no mood for celebrations after the July 11 terrorist attacks that killed nearly 200 people in Mumbai, India's financial and entertainment capital. The filmmaker will release the movie on August 11 without the fanfare and glitz normally associated with big budget Bollywood films. KANK, one of the most anticipated movies of the year, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerjee and Abhishek Bachchan.
