Aishwarya Rai is grabbing eyeballs at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival once again.
This time, not for what she wore!
In a first for an Indian actor, Ash delivered the inaugural speech at Cannes along with director Alexander Payne (Sideways).
The 58th Cannes Film Festival is on from May 11 to May 22.
While at Cannes, watch out also for Nandita Das, who is on the nine-member jury. Her fellow jurors are Hollywood actor Salma Hayek; Sarajevo director Emir Kusturica; Spanish actor Javier Bardem; French filmmakers Benoit Jacquot and Agnes Varda; German director Fatih Akin; Nobel laureate Toni Morrison and Hollywood director John Woo. Impressive list, right?
There's also the red h-o-t Mallika Sherawat in her Rs 45 million diamonds (more of that here!) and Anita Dongre designs. She is there for the premiere of The Myth, her first international film, in which her costar is the 'Kung-fu hero', Jackie Chan!
