Kamal Haasan plays cop in new film

 I am very excited about this project," says director Gowtham Menon.
His new film Vettayadu Vilayadu stars Kamal Haasan, someone Menon dreamt of working with ever since, as a school student, he saw Nayakan. Menon is now busy planning the details of Vettayadu Vilayadu, the shooting of which starts on May 23 in Chennai. The film sees Haasan playing a policeman on the trail of a killer. The thriller will also be filmed in Hyderabad, Mumbai and the US. Menon plans to start location hunting in the US from May 10, and return to Chennai by May 20, where the first schedule will be shot.
