As a person who had no idea about Malayalam films, how did you become an actress?

I was not interested in films. We shifted to Kerala after my father retired. I did my college there.

One day, director Satyan Anthikad called me up, introduced himself, and said he wanted me to act in his new film Manassinakkare. He had seen some of my modelling assignments. I told him I was not interested in films.

To cut a long story short, I finally agreed to do just that one movie. The film became a big hit, and ran for more than 100 days!

Just after the release of Manassinakkare, I got an invitation from Fazil sir to act opposite Mohanlal. When people appreciated my acting, I started enjoying films!

Since nobody called me a bad actress, I thought I'd give the second film a try. Now, I am very much into this profession, and am enjoying every minute of it!
