Amitabh shifted out of ICU December 07, 2005 17:59 IST Last Updated: December 07, 2005 19:02 IST Amitabh Bachchan was shifted out of the ICU at Lilavati Hospital today, December 7, according to informed sources. Bachchan, who underwent a series of tests at the Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi on November 28 after complaining of abdominal pain, was later flown to Mumbai and admitted to Lilavati Hospital the same night. The 63-year-old underwent a successful surgery for 'diverticulitis' of the small intestine on November 30. Doctors say his recovery has been good.
