Nitish Kumar watches Apaharan

Anand Mohan Sahay in Patna | December 02, 2005 20:02 IST

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar watched Prakash Jha's film Apaharan in Patna on Friday evening.

The chief minister saw the film along with Jha and several legislators from the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Hundreds of cinemagoers were surprised to see their new chief minister at the Ashok Cinema Hall.

"I am here to watch the film Apaharan because I am fan of Prakash Jha," the newly elected chief minister said, adding that he was aware the movie was based on kidnappings in Bihar.
