What's a beauty event without Ash?
In Ash's opinion, India's image in the global world is rising. But, she adds, "Indian films will have to meet international standards to face global competition." The actress was speaking at a function to mark 10 years of L'Oreal India, part of the L'Oreal Paris Group. Ash is brand ambassador for L'Oreal's Excellence hair colour and the skincare brand, Dermo Expertise. The actress joined the L'Oreal dream team, which features international beauties like Laetitia Casta, Andie MacDowell, Milla Jovovich, Virginie Ledoyen and Gong Li, in 2003. Aishwarya Rai is happy with the way her career has shaped up. "A couple of my films are scheduled for release this year, including the much publicised international project Bride And Prejudice. Working in international projects needs a change of mindset and attitude. I have now reached a comfort level while working with my co-stars," says the actress.
