Vivek Oberoi: Man of the moment

Vivek OberoiWhen Vivek Oberoi entered the industry, there wasn't much hype surrounding him. All he needed to do was make an impressive debut in Ram Gopal Varma's Company. And Suresh Oberoi's son was the most talked about newcomer.

After the not-so-racy Road, Vivek struck once again with Shaad Ali's Saathiya.

Confident screen presence and oodles of talent, Vivek looked unstoppable. But controversy took over with the Salman Khan threatening calls episode. Vivek's strategy of holding a press conference wasn't received too well by the industry. He made more news for his liaison with Aishwarya Rai instead of his work. Next, in an unfortunate accident on the sets of Mani Ratnam's Yuva, Vivek fractured his leg and was indisposed for a while.

But now Vivek is back, despite yet another minor fracture in his left hand, with two promising films -- Yuva and Indra Kumar's Masti.

Although both the films are three-hero projects (Yuva has Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan. Masti costars Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh), you can count on Oberoi to make his presence felt.

Besides these two movies, the actor is also working on Subhash Ghai's Kisna: A Soldier of Humanity (Isha Sharvani) and Sameer Karnik's Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na (Amitabh Bachchan, Rai).
