Hari Om is entirely set in Rajasthan. It starts in Jaipur Navalgarh, Bikaner, Barmer and then goes to Jaisalmer. "We travelled 1,000 kilometres in the film," informs Bala.

"When Bala told us about this film, I liked the subject and the idea. I thought it was a great business proposal," says Kumar Taurani, co-producer of the film.

Hari Om will first release in the UK and France before coming to India in May. "We are targeting UK and France first because English and French is widely spoken in the film. We are also taking this film to the Cannes Film Festival," says Taurani.

"This road movie was an overwhelming experience for me," says French actress Camille. "The whole crew moved together and it was wonderful! I liked the script. The experience of shooting on the roads excited me. Besides, I had seen Vijay Raaz in Monsoon Wedding, where he performed brilliantly. These were enough reasons for me to be part of this project."

In the picture: Jean Marie Lamour, who acted in the movie, Swimming Pool.
