Spider-ManThe friendly neighbour loves to spin a web in all directions.

Who's on board?

For starters, filmmaker Neil Jordan (The Crying Game, Interview With The Vampire) will pen the script, Julie Taymor (The Lion King: Pride Rock on Broadway) will handle the direction, and U2 stars Bono and The Edge will score the soundtrack.

As an aside, both Jordan and U2 are of Irish origin.

Now who do you think will be ideal for Spidey's role?
