In his heyday, Amitabh Bachchan made a great cop. His Inspector Vijay Khanna in Zanjeer ensured that he kept the character alive in many of his forthcoming films.
While Ajay Devgan played the righteous cop in the recent Gangaajal, Anil Kapoor played a greedy one in Ram Lakhan.
Akshay Kumar played a cop so well that Saif Ali Khan wanted to ape him in Main Khiladi Tu Anari. Sunny Deol's police act in Tridev is just as well remembered as his patriotic moves.
And who can forget Jackie Shroff's cop act in Khalnayak?
A slew of Hindi films will hit the marquee soon, based on the Indian police force. Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee will start the show, followed by Govind Nihalani's Dev and Madhur Bhandarkar's Aan: Men At Work.
With so many actors taking to the vardi, which of them do you think makes the best cop?
Tell us. We would love to hear from you?
