You thought heroines are used only as decorative dolls in films.

You would be right, sometimes. But once in a while comes a movie which revolves entirely around the woman.

Take Kajol's Dushman, Raveena Tandon's Daman and Satta or Tabu's Chandni Bar. But Bollywood is evolving. Now, we have women helming thrillers (Sushmita Sen in Samay: When Time Strikes) and comedies (Manisha Koirala and Sen in Paisa Vasool).

After a sensitive performance in Pinjar, Urmila Matondkar is expected to better her act in Ek Hasina Thi, which releases this week.

Just the right occasion to ask you, dear readers, would you watch a female-oriented film? If you do, which are your favourites? Tell us, we would love to hear from you!
