Preity ZintaAt the recent Sansui Movie Awards held on February 1 in Mumbai, Preity Zinta bagged the Best Actress Award for Nikhil Advani's Kal Ho Naa Ho, costarring Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan.

The award was a welcome birthday present for this actress who turned 30 on January 31. Preity, who was recently asked to contribute a monthly column to the BBC on life and cinema, claims that it would be a 'good opportunity to have a say.'

The Best Actor Award went to her Koi... Mil Gaya costar Hrithik Roshan.

Kareena Kapoor
has been roped in an Indo-Pakistani venture, Sannata, to be directed by Pakistani director-cum-actor Javed Sheikh. According to timesofindia.com, the film costars Momi Rana.

The director also plans to rope in choreographers and singers from the Hindi film industry for his other film, Khulay Aasman Kay Neechay, starring Pakistani actors Sana, Meera, Humayun Saeed, Nadeem Baig, Behroz Sabzwari, Ismail Tara, Uzma Gillani and Saleem Sheikh.

Khakee filmmakers to do another film together

A still from KhakeeAfter the successful opening of Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee, producer Keshu and the director have planned another film together.

The details regarding the cast and story have not been revealed yet, according to indiafm.com.

Khakee, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai and Tusshar Kapoor, is about a team of policemen who have to escort dangerous prisoner Atul Kulkarni from one prison to another.
