Only yesterday, much newsprint was wasted on Britney's 'claim' that her wedding to dancer-fiancé Kevin Federline was called off.

Apparently, the couple had a showdown during the launch of her new perfume, Curious.

Two hours later, Britney slammed the rumours and claimed her wedding was very much on, reported ananova.com.

The singer's spokeswoman said Britney is so 'smitten' with her fiancé that she wants him to star in her new video. She will apparently marry a Kevin lookalike in the video.

The couple are slated to marry on November 20 in Santa Barbara.
